About V.O.C.'s

The acronym V.O.C. stands for Volitile Organic Compound('s). Basically what this is in reference to is the amount gaseous (breathable) vapors that the product will emit under normal atmospheric conditions during the material's curing period.

It is common for people to feel varying symptoms of nausea and sickness from being exposed to high levels of VOC's. This is why low or zero VOC paints are beneficial. While they still contain some VOC's, they have far less harmful agents than standard paints.
