Every project is different

In a historic restoration there are often guidelines for remodeling set by a local association or authority. To some degree this helps to determine what options are available for any given project. These historic authorities are a valuable aid in helping to determine special circumstances, as well as purveying relavent information. Such as, available grants, or the historical importance of the property.

In these older properties one is more likely to run into issues with lead based paints. It is always in a property owners best interest to have such health hazards removed or brought under control to reduce toxic exposure.

Being that older homes often require more attention for a total remodel, the results in the end are usually breathtaking as the property is transformed and updated.
